So many friends at the moment are feeling scattered and pulled in numerous directions. To come back home to a more centered place can you start with asking yourself the following questions:
1. What is a priority? List the first one as the most important. If you can leave several of the last ones your list then put them into your diary for down the line that might be 3 months or 6 months or even a year away. As the saying goes Rome was not built in a day.
2. If your doing too many things ask yourself why? Am I in fear or in abundance? What is the emotion behind the scattered feeling? For instance is it anger? If YES, then what are you angry about? Feel it and let it go. Understanding your true feelings and working through it and letting it go is great for the soul and a funny thing typically happens, after an ahah moment and potentially a good cry, your energy will flood back and you will be renewed with more insight into who you are and what your needs are.
3. Get clear on what it is you want to create. Ask yourself the following questions to get a clear focus – What is your intention? What do I really want to create? How do I see my life when I am peaceful, self confident and abundant? And how do you feel? Then embrace that vision and know that when you are not feeling hot then you’re potentially out of alignment. Stop, reassess and see where you can cut back, allowing you to take good care of yourself, whilst creating whatever it is you are pursuing. Also note that we often are not realistic about time frames. Slow down and take your time. Incremental steps whilst enjoying the journey is a lot more enjoyable then big huge marathons that often leave you exhausted and overwhelmed. I have added a year to most of my goals which is a big change to the extra week or month I used to give myself. Why are we rushing?
4. If you can take an hour to do nothing but lie down and be still that is great. Lie down on your bed, under a tree or where you feel peaceful and see what comes to you.
5. Are you grasping for things or are you receiving? When we grasp we are usually living in fear but when we are allowing and receiving we are in an abundant, more calm position to manifest. We live in a male orientated society that is about pushing and forcing to achieve. In order to create in a more feminine way, we need to let go of that out dated and often exhausting approach to obtaining “success” to find a new way of manifesting that honors your spirit. Also, you might want to have a good look at how YOU define success. What matters to you? Don’t follow the masses and create your own path.
6. For those with magnetic personalities (which is most women) you will attract people like honey to a bee but be careful not to get stung by a big energy zap. If there is a lot of energy going out of course your going to feel scattered. I would visualize seeing all your contacts as streams of light send them love then cut the chord between you (that is the energy link) between you and all the souls you are connected to.
7. Allow only 30 minutes a day say twice a week for networking and you are free on weekends or night time when you might be less productive or use the time to connect with self, read, have a bath, cook a nice meal.
8. Try to get a good nights sleep regularly as part of your balancing self love ritual.
9. Create strong boundaries and practise saying “no”! In many cases it is more powerful than saying “yes”. It seems that a lot of women have no issue taking on new things to do but seem to have trouble with creating space by refusing to take on additional things to do. If you’re constantly giving out then when do you have the time needed for you? Practise saying “no” at least once a week and see how you feel? Do you feel empowered or do you feel guilty? If guilty emerges then make sure to look at why? More to come on this subject!!
10. Ground yourself by walking bare foot on the sand, soil or grass. Connect and pray, that is ASK and receive. This is your morning ritual as often as possible. Know you are worth it.

Rinsing the quinoa and then toasting it gets rid of the green, raw, and slightly bitter
taste this grain can have called sapions. It is an option to toast the quinoa after it has been rinsed, it is not necessary but gives a lovely toasted flavour to the grain.
Ingredients
10 sun-dried tomatoes, sliced
1/3 cup roasted capsicum, sliced
8 black olives chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 cups shredded Swiss chard or wild greens
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups quinoa, rinsed and drained
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup pine nuts, roasted
1/3 cup golden raisins
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Place the toasted rinsed quinoa into a saucepan and cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook the quinoa until the grain slightly swells and is soft to the bite. Drain the quinoa and set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a fry pan and sauté the onions, garlic and spinach for 2 minutes or until softened. Combine the quinoa with the spinach mixture in a bowl and add all the other ingredients, adjust the seasoning and drizzle in a little olive oil.
Remember these ingredients are optional and you can substitute your favourite salad combinations.
I love this quote a friend send to me last night, “You block your dream when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith.” Mary Manin Morrissey
I am person with big visions and sometimes I can tend to overwhelm myself and then fear starts to brew. By learning to take small steps, I know I am on my way to achieving my grand vision but I am creating it with achievable little steps. What I have discovered is that the fear dissipates completely, my vibe is all good and I am also taking care of myself in the process. Phew!! I am so pleased that I have finally woken up this because it has been a repetitive theme for me for a long time! So, if you feel fear that is normal but try to shift it as quickly as possible by taking off the pressure and expectation. If fear is overwhelming it usually a great sign that sometime is not in alignment with your core values. It is a sign to look deeper at what is really going on. It is a good idea to self assess our feelings and behaviors so we can clearly see where we can diminish the load. Here are some questions:
1. What is exhausting me?
2. Why do I have to do things so quickly? What would be the worst thing that could happen if I took twice or even three time as long to complete a project? (The answer will typically be well nothing bad will happen. Perhaps I might even enjoy the process more with more time for myself and those I love!)
3. How can I invite more fun into my life?
4. Where can I get more support?
5. What rituals can I set up that can give me the break I need to centre myself each day or every few days?
6. Get outside in the fresh air, go for a walk and connect with your inner self and your inner voice. Breathe in love and exhale fear. This is a great mind-body technique that I love to use!
Enjoy the ride, take small steps and the fear you feel should mostly be replaced by love, enthusiasm and excitement. Love, ING xx
