I just posted this message on Facebook and I thought I would share our impromptu dialog with one of my FB friends! “Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends! May it be rich with nourishing foods, love, joy and happiness!

The Question: So do I eat anything that I want to? Or are you saying just eat what’s good for you whenever you like? I am still mindful of the bad foods I shouldn’t be eating..

Ingrid Arna: I think today you should enjoy any and all foods… allow yourself to have a little taste of this and that so 70% pretty good and 30% do whatever you fancy… trust yourself … you won’t over indulge if you eat with love and trust.. have fun it’s just one day! Would you like to eat anything you want to? And how would that make you feel?

Her response: I don’t necessarily want to eat anything I want to because I feel really icky after eating foods I know I shouldn’t – therefore doing more exercise or whatever. I’m just trying so hard to lose weight so when I eat bad foods I hate myself! Ha ha

Miss Bodylove (that’s me again) Ok, so you’ve come up with what’s most Bodyloving for you. Make a commitment to breathe, eat really well the most loving foods ever so you feel amazing!! By doing this you honor your vision. Breathing is a fat-burning exercise! By breathing during meals is a great and easy way to help you to become a leisurely, pleasure filled and conscious eater!

Next, she how she said, I hate myself when I over indulge? But why do we hate ourselves? This response is so common with women and it has a nasty effect on our entire lives! Our relationship with food typically reflects our relationship with every aspect of our lives. So if we are in hate mode around food it’s really just a sign that there is bashing already present and that food further triggers that behavior. It’s self defeating and quite harmful because when we hate we are bullying and punishing ourselves. What this does is create stress in the body and in doing so raises cortisol! Cortisol puts the body in panic mode ( or fight and flight) and the body stores fat and or holds onto the food by shutting down digestion. We don’t overeat because of lack of willpower but because we are physiologically driven to do so when are our meals are lacking in pleasure, awareness, time and relaxation.

Remember when love and pleasure is present with big creamy dollop of Vitamin (T)rust, you’ll enjoy yourself without eating till you feel sick!

It’s one day of celebration not a gorge out pig fest right. When you practice gratitude and love you’re your body do you want to eat everything in sight or do you want to really enjoy a great delicious meal without going totally nutso! Chances are you might eat more than usual and who cares? It won’t harm you, punish or destroy your weight loss goals unless you allow it to by bringing toxic emotion (fear, worry, shame, guilt) to the meal. Eating a few sweet treats doesn’t derail weight loss unless you keep repeating it daily. What happens with many women is that they eat something they consider “bad” and they then have the unloving and incorrect thought of “I’m a bad person” and the guilt and fear is ignited and then binge eating can set it. It’s the thinking that’s derails you not the food if you just do it on one day! When you think about it, it’s pretty crazy! Bring beautiful vibes (love, appreciation, pleasure, peace) to your food by enjoying your meal no matter how big or small. Then you can resume your Bodylove pleasure and beauty foods program in the morning.

If you want a peace of cake then have it. But enjoy it! You don’t want to feel restricted! But don’t eat the cake if you’re going to freak out! What’s the point? Are you really having a pleasurable loving experience when you freak out? I think not! When we freak out with food that’s when we eat with fear and it’s no fun and it wreck havoc emotionally, spiritually and psychically. If you think a piece of cake or another serving of turkey will make you feel icky then don’t eat it. But if you really want the cake or whatever treat you fancy then eat to your heart and bodies content on one condition – YOU MUST POUR LOVE INTO YOUR MEAL AND LOVE EVERY BITE! You should be left feeling satisfied and sensuous!

The most important principle at Bodylove Diet is to do what is most loving for you. Take a minute to ask yourself, how to I want to feel tomorrow? If you want to feel fabulous, high energy, light, happy and sensuous then perhaps go for a nice walk or pray or meditate in the morning and make a Bodylove’n commitment to eating with love. Focus on the energy and emotions you feel when eating and bring happiness, gratitude and love to the table! No matter what food you eat try your best to choose or prepare the most high quality foods you can! Enjoy your food and you’ll be in a great mood and your body will love your it and your spirit will shine!

Here’s a great affirmation:
I trust myself around food. I am grateful for my abundance! I’m now eating with love and gratitude. My metabolism and digestion is on fire!

I’m busy writing my last key in my book- BODYLOVE BEAUTY FOODS & PLEASURE KEY. If you have yet to join my group LIKE me @ Bodylove Diet.

When we nourish the soul with love, high vibe foods and faith we fill each cell with beauty. The biggest breakthroughs and transformations come when you think in a totally new way. First, create a new vision, new beliefs and behaviors and then your new reality will be born. Realize your desire by becoming it. Become it by embodying that which you want to create in your life. Embody = feeling it what we want to become.

If you want radiant health then start being thankful for what you have and then pour more love into yourself. See and feel what it is like to be healthy, glowing, radiant and full of love and light. Then praise your body by feeding and nourishing yourself with LOVE. The affirmation ‘I am thankful for my body’ sends love to each cell of your being. When we love what is despite the size of your tush or thighs we embody a beauty energy. When we create a new energy in the body based in LOVE, the body corrects and heals itself.

It’s important to love and appreciate what you have right now otherwise its like drinking poison. Hating, bullying and bashing ain’t going to work! It never has and it never well. Imagine drinking poison daily, that’s exactly the kind of affect creates in your body. Those nasty taunts create stress in the body which puts the body in a fear and guess what the body does in response? Shuts down digestion and stores fat! YIKES! I did it for over a decade and all that did was make me very sick. Sickness in the mind = sickness in body and soul. On the flip side – a beautiful mind + beautiful food = beautiful beaming body = a new beautiful reality! Woo hoo!

As soon as you start to shift your energy you will become a magnet for your desires. Do it with pleasure, have fun and most of all TRUST your body and yourself. Cast all burdens aside! I’m going to shatter many lies about food, weight loss and healing. I can’t wait! A deeper reality is being birthed as the modern day Goddess reigns once again. What a beautiful magical and powerful new world it’s going to be! For we are set FREE. Another stellar affirmation is “I trust myself. I trust life. I trust creator and the universe. With each breath I am healing. I see the weight of my burdens release from my body and I’m instantly connected to source, to my soul and to the limitless lusciousness of my creation.”

If you receive a message or a hunch, know that it’s your INTUITION, speaking to you. Follow that oh mighty voice. Don’t not dismiss her. You INTUITION will become your own inner BFF there to guide you. Once, again add a big dose of Vitamin (T)RUST and you will hear and follow your inner voice. In doing so your path will be sprinkled with love, guidance, grace and fairy lights. Bring it on!

As you cultivate a juicy relationship with your body it removes the guilt, shame, embarrassment and deletes the “I’m not good enough” mantra that most women chant from dusk to dawn.

Living juicy cultivates a sensual approach to everything we do from eating, to loving making, our work, adventure, risk taking, cooking, healing, study, meeting new people, marriage, raising children and even doing business deals. The ability to give and receive pleasure is the birth mother to juiciness. The two dance together in unity. As soon as you start to call for a juicy new life you will begin to create it and pleasure will guide you daily.

As soon as you arrive at your juicy new world, you will feel liked you’ve moved from Ethiopia to the Rivera. Just like Cleopatra was served by handsome men willing to meet her every request so too will the universe match your new energy with unlimited lusciousness. When you aren’t living La Vida Juicy, you will know that you just need to squeeze some more Bodylove into the mix.

A juicy woman, loves herself despite what others think or say about her. She knows her worth and she owns it. It doesn’t fluctuate with the size of your tush, or by the amount of admiration she receives or by the passing of time. Rather as a woman journey’s into her life, year by year she gets more juicy not less.
